Safety Leadership Lunch and Learn
Safety management tools and systems for managing incident reporting, required employee training, facility and equipment inspections and even employee behaviors have come a long way in recent years. Many companies have implemented many of these management tools and systems only to see marginal results in incident prevention. Do these safety management systems create an environment where your employees work safe because they “want” to or because they are “required” to? Maybe a lack of safety leadership is part of the problem? Learn what it means to be a leader in your organization and specifically what it means to be a leader for safety. Learn and practice one simple leadership skill that can begin to transform you from being a Safety Manager that attempts to manage to an incident free outcome into a Safety Leader that leads your organization to an incident free outcome.
