Meet Rená Hart, Corporate Space and Defense Group EHS Manager at Moog, Inc. Rená grew up in Columbia, South Carolina. She later attended Clemson University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
3 key responsibilities of your job –
- Partner with site EHS staff and site leadership for implementation of EHS programs, to include delivering training and assisting with building project plans.
- Participate in internal Corporate EHS Compliance Audits of sites, domestic and international.
- Provide technical expertise on applicable regulatory requirements.
What or Who inspires you – My children are my greatest inspiration and help me to work hard. They are all at different stages of life and watching them mature and face different challenges helps me to be better and do better every day.
Most meaningful professional achievement – Assisting in the re-design of a training program related to dangerous goods transportation that improved employees’ understanding and performance.
Future career goal or aspiration – I would like to progress into a Director role and continue to develop my leadership and communication skills. I would love to lead a team of EHS professionals, create strategies and build partnerships that helps an organization cultivate and sustain a world-class EHS culture.
Go-to comfort food – Cheesecake, brownie or warm chocolate chip cookie
Hobbies/Enjoy doing outside of work – I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and trying new restaurants.
