Brief Description: This presentation will center around radiation safety, its history, science, regulation and application.  Three learning points will be: 1) Discuss the history of radiation safety.  2) Review the science behind radiation safety.  3) Discuss regulatory concepts and their application.

Mr. Miller has 28 years of experience in the EHS field. Over 12 of which was spent in radiation safety. After working for fortune 500 and 100 companies for over twenty years, Mr. Miller went into consulting focusing on radiation safety.  Currently he is the Principal Consultant at Carolina Safety and Health Consultants LLC.  He is an experienced Senior EHS Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the manufacturing, oil & energy industries. Skilled in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Continuous Improvement, Hazard Analysis, Chemical Safety, and Safety Training.
